MediaGet is a multifunctional torrent client with a built-in media library. The program supports many open torrent trackers and provides access to closed peer-to-peer networks. MediaGet allows you to download at maximum speed, searches for files by name and size and does not require registration.
The main application window can be switched to catalog or downloads mode. In the catalog, the user can view available movies, TV series, cartoons and games and filter them by various parameters — popularity, year, language, genre, etc. On the product page, you can read information about it and select one of the links. You can download the file or view it online. The program has a powerful media player that can be used to play local media files.
Using the hamburger menu, you can open the settings, where the system integration parameters, interface, download, connection and proxy are available.
Advantages of MediaGet
directory of files by category;
description of each file (screenshots, information, actors);
built-in search by name and size;
powerful built-in media player;
preview of the downloaded file;
automatic blocking of information exchange with “anti-piracy” IP;
advanced settings for advanced users.
MediaGet is a convenient and practical program, a great alternative to classic p2p clients and file sharing networks, since it does not force you to manually search for the desired content on different trackers. However, for fast work, you will need a stable Internet connection and unlimited traffic.
Installing MediaGet for Windows
Run the installer. Open the installation options by clicking “Settings” in the lower left corner of the installer window. Here you can add MediaGet to the Windows firewall exception, make it the default program for working with torrents and playing media files, and configure the application to run with the system. Click the “Continue” button and wait for the necessary files to be downloaded. Upon completion of the download, the installation will start, during which several windows will appear with an offer to install partner software, which you can opt out of. Be careful — the buttons for refusing to install this unnecessary software, although they look inactive, are not.
